Flu

Seasonal influenza

The CDC recommends everyone 6 months of age and older get a flu vaccine every year. Harbor Drug provides flu shots every year to people 3 years of age and older. We also provide the flu vaccine for people 65 years of age and older.

RSV

Abrysvo

Respiratory syncytial (sin-SISH-uhl) virus, or RSV, is a common respiratory virus that usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms. The CDC recommends adults 60 years of age and older may receive a single dose of RSV vaccine using shared clinical decision-making.

Shingles

Shingrix

Shingrix is the recommended vaccine to prevent shingles in healthy adults 60 years and older. This is a 2-dose series given 2 to 6 months apart. Even if you have had a previous Shingles vaccine (Zostavax), you are encouraged to receive the Shingrix series.

Tetanus

Adacel

Vaccines used in the United States today against diphtheria and tetanus (i.e., DT, Td) sometimes also include protection against whooping cough or pertussis (i.e., DTaP, Tdap). The CDC recommends diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (pertussis) vaccination for everyone. Harbor Drug offers the Tdap vaccine, which covers tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. Check with your doctor or pharmacist to see if you’re up to date on your tetanus vaccine.

Pneumonia

Prevnar & Pneumovax

There are 2 kind of pneumococcal vaccines available. The CDC recommends all adults over the age of 65 get 1 dose of Pneumovax. Adults over the age of 65 may also elect to get 1 dose of Prevnar. Harbor Drug provides pneumonia vaccines all year round.

COVID-19

Moderna

COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. Everyone 6 months and older should get an updated COVID-19 vaccine.
